吴英鹏教授本科毕业于上海交通大学化学化工学院，博士毕业于南开大学化学学院，之后分别在斯坦福大学（Stanford University）任博士后，威斯康辛州立大学（UWM）任助理研究员。现任职湖南大学化学化工学院，化学系主任，入选国家高层次人才项目。近年来，发表论文50余篇，引用超过8000次，h因子32；其中第一作者/共同第一作者/通讯作者论文包括：Nature, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Cell Report Physics Science等国际著名杂志。
