现为湖南大学二级教授,博士生导师,入选国家高层次人才(领军)、国家高层次青年人才、教育部新世纪优秀人才、湖南省科技创新领军人才等。主要从事固体废物资源化与环境污染修复方法与理论研究,先后主持国家自科基金项目、湖南省重点项目等多个科研项目,取得了一系列创新成果。已发表SCI论文100余篇,部分成果已获国家自然科学二等奖、湖南省自然科学一等奖、教育部技术发明一等奖等多个奖项。2021-2024年连续4年入选爱思唯尔中国高被引学者、全球前2%科学家。
