李树涛，现任湖南大学校党委常委、副校长，教授，博士生导师。入选国家级高层次人才计划，教育部科技委信息学部委员，中国图像图形学会常务理事，湖南省自动化学会副理事长，IEEE Fellow, IEEE GRSS Changsha Chapter Chair，科睿唯安(Clarivate Analytics)高被引科学家、Elsevier中国高被引学者。担任IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement，Information Fusion等国际著名期刊编委。

长期从事遥感图像处理、信息融合与模式识别等领域的研究工作，先后承担了国家重点研发计划等国家和省部级课题二十余项，获国家自然科学二等奖一项（排名第一），国家科技进步二等奖二项（排名第三、五），湖南省自然科学一等奖、教育部自然科学二等奖、湖南省科技进步二等奖、湖南省教学成果一等奖各一项（均排名第一）。在国内外权威学术期刊和会议上发表论文200余篇，其中SCI收录110余篇，IEEE Transactions论文71篇，ESI 1%高被引论文23篇，ESI 1‰热点论文4篇，授权国家发明专利12项，软件著作权6项。
